When you authorize Velotask via TikTok OAuth, we collect and process only the necessary information required for your creator publishing workflow:

TikTok Profile Information: Granted via the user.info.basic scope (e.g. display name, avatar, and username) to identify the connected account in the dashboard.
Video and Caption Content: The specific video file and accompanying caption text that you actively select and approve for publishing.
Workflow Logs: Temporary records of publishing status, upload timestamps, and transaction status logs (such as the TikTok Content Posting API publish ID) to verify transfer success.
Authorization Tokens: Encrypted tokens to communicate securely with TikTok's API.

2. How we use information

We use this information exclusively to verify credentials, render your connected dashboard, perform the authorized video.upload integration, confirm upload success, and maintain operational logs for troubleshooting. We do not engage in automated spamming or background auto-posting. All publishes are actively confirmed and triggered by the user.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties. Information is sent securely to TikTok's servers only when you explicitly press "Publish to TikTok" in the dashboard. We share metadata with service providers solely when necessary for secure hosting and standard support troubleshooting.

4. Retention and deletion

Authorization tokens and workflow logs are stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to complete your publishing requests. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated workflow logs at any time by contacting us at remy@testa.dev.

5. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect tokens, uploaded media, and activity logs against unauthorized access or disclosure.

6. Revoking access

You can revoke Velotask's access to your TikTok account at any time. To do this, simply log out from the dashboard or remove the Velotask application authorization inside your TikTok account settings.
